Wondering if anyone has suggestions on a leveling kit for my 2013 4X4 Big Horn. Looked at rough country 2.5" kit and bilstien shock kit. Basically wasn't sure if I should go with spacers or the shock kit. :4-dontknow:

FYI - There are some upper control arm/ball joint issues with 2013+ trucks when using leveling kits. Some guys are also seeing the same problems with shock levels, but they seem less frequent then the leveling kits.

Thanks for the info. May put this project on hold as the dealership is telling me they will install a kit, but it would still void warranty.

It can only void the warranty on something that fails as a result of the leveling kit. They have to be able to prove that the leveling kit cause the problem. Your warranty will still be 100% valid on the majority of the truck.

Yeah, I knew that didn't sound right. Thanks for the help, the link was really helpful. I'll probably go with bilstein. Don't do much rough terrain, but the sounds like the shocks are the safer option and leave more room to add stuff later on.

Don't go with the RCX, they are preload spacers and that will change the spring rate giving you a stiffer ride. There are better kits out there, look for one that gives you strut extensions.
