I am looking at putting a front end leveling kit on my 09 Laramie but i heard the fuel economy will suffer greatly. I don't mind the fuel consumption now but wouldn't want to see it get much worse. With everyone out there that has put front end leveling kits on, have you noticed a big difference in the fuel economy?

Lifting the truck should only yield a .5-1mpg loss, if that. Hardly noticeable. The point where you get noticeable mpg loss is when putting on larger tires. The larger the tire, the more power it takes to get it rolling. Changing the height of the vehicle will only make it slightly less aerodynamic which, like i said, will only yield slightly lower mpg.

Great thanks for the info. Well i guess i'll order a front end leveling kit. I just put brand new tires on so i won't be changing tires anytime soon. She is a camper hauler so it wont do alot of off road. I have a jeep for the woods. Next question is what leveling kit do i want? the daystar seems pretty popular. They are all basically the same for the 2.5" kits aren't they?

Have you considered the Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks for the front end?

You will never notice the level at the pump.

Thanks for the info, and after a bit of homework i think i will go with the Bilsteins. I just have to convince my pregnant wife that it won't be any harder then it already is to get in. She thinks its already to big. Meh.... Im just getting started...
