Okay, I have an 03 1500 4.7L and am wanting to put a little bigger tires on. So I know I will have to throw a leveling kit on there. I am struggling on which one to get because it seems like there are a couple different things. I know I am going to have to get torsion keys or crank my torsion bars. But I also heard from someone that I would need 2" longer shocks. And he said most kits come with new front shocks or relocation brackets. I'm just trying to figure out what all I need to order to make this happen. The sooner I can get it all bought and installed the sooner I can get new tires and wheels put on.

Thanks guys!

Your truck will probably ride better with new shocks. You could level and see how it rides and replace the shocks if your not happy with it
Keep in mind that with torsion bars the lift is achieved by increasing tensions in the springs meaning it will have a little bit stiffer ride with or with out new shocks, the higher the stiffer

You can go to your local AutonZone and rent a ball joint removal tool and it will do the same thing. I would not use a C-clamp, it could slip and cause you headaches. The ball joint tool will have a smaller piece to fit in the little divot on the torsion key. Just my personal experience talking.
