Hi all, i've been looking into fitting a 6" lift kit to my 2011 Ram 1500 but have been told by my local dealership that if i do so i will invalidate the warranty. They also told me that the only way around this was to have them supply and fit a Mopar lift kit, needless to say this is 3-4 times the cost and they can only supply 4" max kit. Just wondering if anybody has any advice on this matter?
Thanks
Kris

Not true. I called and talked with the General Manager, since I know him personally, and he told me that a lift wont Void the warranty as long as it doesnt cause harm to the Drivetrain. He said that if the Lift causes the Drive shaft or Tranny to tear up then its up to me to replace it on my own dime.

BUT, he also said that it would be hard for a dealer to determine if a lift kit caused a Drive shaft or tranny to tear up. And that in most cases the dealership would honor the Drivetrain warranty. Thats what the guy told me, because Im planning on putting a 6 inch pure performance lift on mine and running 37's.

Yes you just need to buy spacers for the airbags to match your lift. I have them on my truck.
