Just thought I would pass this on found it a little funny once I figured out what it was. Last night we got around 4 inchs of snow that followed a day of rain. The roads was a sloppy mess But the truck handled it pretty good considering I don't have any weight in the back. So today when I got up and headed out I got out on the open road and damn the thing drove like crap. As long as I kept it under 35 it was okay but the faster it got the worst that back bounced. I pulled over checked to see if the tires was up and not soft they all looked good. Peaked under didn't see anything got in started again same thing. shifted it into neutral hoping it wasn't my tranny jumping in between gears same bouncing vibration. Pulled over again and looked over the front end thinking maybe it was coming from the front and just felt like the back. Front all checked out fine. Finally I just went home figured a belt or something had went wrong with a tire when I got back to the house I pulled in and actually crawled under it and started checking everything looking for a possible tire issue. And the Verdict was Ice Build up on the inside of the Back driver side rim. I guess when I stopped previously times it was at the top of the wheel and you couldn't see it. But at home it was at the bottom clear as day. I guess a chunk of ice 3 inchs high 7 inchs long and prob 6 inch wide sure will make your truck handle weird.

Same thing happened to me with all four rims on my 03. I did an unwanted right turn into the deep snow while towing a snowmobile trailer. I was in 2wd on black ice and the trailer jack knifed pulling me sideways and into the shoulder. Once I backed out of the deep snow I pulled back on the road and started to feel something wierd. The faster I went worse it got until it was nearly uncontrollable. I pulled off once and did not see anything out of the ordinary but the second time I stopped I noticed the wheels were packed with snow and probably throwing everything out of balance. Once cleared everything was fine again.
