Hi guys. I have a 2010 ram 1500 with the 20 inch chrome clad wheels. Currently still have the stock tires on it but i hate them with a growing passion....

I am looking into the Bilstein level shocks and some new tires. The popular size seems to be 305/55/20 May i ask why this size instead of 286/65/20? Both seem to fit with the level kit..

Also if i could get some recommendations for what brand tire? Looking for a nice A/T tire

Thank you!

I say Bilstiens maxed with some Trail Grappler in a 35x12.50x20 flavor! If you're set on 33s, go with the 305/55/20.

The 295/65/20 (35.5") Trail graps fit with just a level. You'll be fine with your gears. I ran 37s with 3.55s for almost a year and 20k miles with no issues. ALOT of guys on here are running 35s-38s with 3.55s....

Thinking performance and gas wise it would take a pretty big hit no? With 3.55's i assume its gotta work quite a bit harder to get those taller and heavier tires rolling.

Thanks for the heads up though, will keep my options open

To rayne, how come you're selling them? km on them? Going to wait atleast another month before i get new tires, but i like to do my research well ahead so i don't rush into anything and regret later.

Alright, i will keep them in mind thank you... Currently leaning more towards the 305's though for that wider stance. But havent made up my mind yet.

Anyone else have recommendation for tires? Brand wise etc...
