So was talking with my local exhaust guy who is a good friend of mine and he told me about a couple of 2500 he has done lately and we decided to do it to mine. We ended up cutting the muffler out and bent a 3" pipe 38" long to put in place of the muffler and i tell ya what it sounds good. We are debateing wether or not to remove the resonator has anyone done this yet? The truck has a nice deep tone and seems a little more responsive as well. I will be doing headers and duals later but for $50 i cant complain.

be careful..make it too open and you'll lose low end tq..

Yeah I'm gonna leave the resonator on I just hauled around 15,000 on my flatbed for 350 miles and fuel mileage was 10.5 hand calculated and I pulled great nice tone and plenty of power so gonna keep it this way till my true duals get put on
