Low Fuel Warning

There only two types of. Countries. The ones that use the metric system and the other one that landed a man on the moon!
NASA engineers use full metric now. For the lunar landings the hardware was designed in metric and the travel calculations measured in imperial. No idea why they did that, but i guess they just wanted to watch the world (and moon) burn.

Even on a 26 glalon tank the gauge isnt too precise. You said yourself that you can get 200kms after the light comes on; I am comfortable going up to 50 miles after my light comes on
Once you know the truck, you should have a pretty good idea of how much fuel you have left. I know i can go 80ish miles once the light comes on: 8gal left - 2 for safety&pump = 6gal x 15mpg = 90 miles (then cut some off to be safe). Just use conservative estimates and you'll be fine. The only time it bothers me is in the winter when i can't use the remote start when there's still 8 gallons in the tank. Could idle for a day with that much fuel.

We are generally nice when mildly intoxicated. Sometimes too nice! If you seen the grief I got for so called "complaining" about the issue on my new truck you would see why I had to post that.

I might be born and raised in Wisconsin, but I refuse to identify myself as a cheesehead. I was also born and raised in the cheese state being lactose intolerant, you'd be cranky too! LOL!
I've had this discussion with a couple friends that are lactose or gluten intolerant, and i'm honestly not sure which would kill me first. I go through at least a gallon of milk a week...

As for friendliness: ND takes the cake there (and that's coming from a Minnesotan...). Spent 6 years in Fargo and have never seen such friendly drunks.

I play chicken with my gas light every week and I always lose. I've yet to see it come one. My last Dodge wouldn't give you a light it would just cut off on you. So im to scary to see if this will do the same. I get it on the line right were it starts to turn red and then I just put gas in it.
I did this with my dad's 2012. We had never seen the low fuel light come on, so one trip back from Fargo to Minneapolis i decided to drive it until it went off (with stations every couple miles). Put 24.5 into a 26 gallon tank. My 2016 is the exact opposite, it dings and i'll put 24 into a 32 gallon tank...

Good news because that drives me nuts, it effectively makes the 32 gal tank a waste of money the way the gauge is programmed now. I'll definitely be taking my truck in when this update comes out.
Good thing i pay attention to changes the dealer makes and my odometer. Could end up on the side of the road if you're not paying attention....
