Purchased my RAM 1500 a couple of months ago and window sticker says it has a 32 gallon gas tank. I've filled up about 4 times and each time I waited until the low fuel warning message displayed. But when I fill up, I have never had to put in more than 26 gallons. Are there really 6 gallons still in the tank when the low fuel warning comes on?

I play chicken with my gas light every week and I always lose. I've yet to see it come one. My last Dodge wouldn't give you a light it would just cut off on you. So im to scary to see if this will do the same. I get it on the line right were it starts to turn red and then I just put gas in it.
