Purchased my RAM 1500 a couple of months ago and window sticker says it has a 32 gallon gas tank. I've filled up about 4 times and each time I waited until the low fuel warning message displayed. But when I fill up, I have never had to put in more than 26 gallons. Are there really 6 gallons still in the tank when the low fuel warning comes on?

Mine is fairly accurate. A few times now I have put 31 gallons in after it said low fuel and I continued to drive a few miles. I trust it to be accurate by these experiences. Now the evic mpg readout is another story.
