Lower Driver Seat?

Hi All!
I hope this is the right place for this question, it says interior modifications but everything seems to be audio stuff. If I am in the wrong place sorry.

Just bought a 2010 1500 SLT, it does not have power seats. Is there a way to lower the seats in the truck? I know with power seats you can usually raise or lower the seats. Problem I am having is when I get the steering wheel in a comfortable driving position it blocks the speedometer. Interstate driving doesnt bother me because I can set the cruise. But driving off the interstate becomes annoying to cock my head down to see how fast I am going. I had a passenger the other day who said I looked like a chicken going after feed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately there's no way to modify the seat height without taking a cutting torch to the seat frame... I don't recommend such actions. What I had to teach myself to do was set the wheel just above the speedo then teach myself to find a comfortable position for my arms on the center console and arm rest. I typically have one hand at either 3 or 9 o'clock with the other on my leg now, quite comfortable on long drives and it's close enough to respond to the idiots in the city.
Well thats unfortunate. Oh well, just something to get used to. Thanks!
