I want to drop the rear to level my 2014 1500. Or, considering a 2/4 drop. I use the truck to tow a 6000 lb trailer. Does anyone have any experience towing this type of load with a lowered truck? I have a WD hitch but the rear squats pretty far when the trailer is attached and I'm just not sure if lowering is even an option. Any advise is welcome.

I'm looking at dropping the rear of mine 2" to level it out & I tow a 4500lb travel trailer. My plan is to install the Air Lift 1000 bags inside the rear coils to keep things in check while loaded up. There are a few guys on here who claim to have done it with no issues & they're fairly inexpensive too... Good luck :)

Personally if towing is in the picture, I would not lower the rear, but installing an air lift system has merit.
