I think the single cabs and 2500/3500's ate made in Mexico. The 1500 crews are made in warren, mi. I'm not exactly for sure though. My window sticker for my Laramie says warren, mi.
Are any pickups from any brand made 100% in the country of their manufacturer's origin? I'm talking manufacture, parts, assembly, everything. Off hand I'm thinking there's not one.

Josh has it, but I think the engines are all also assembled in Mexico, I could be wrong on that.
well hell.... thanks guys for the input so far!! and people wonder why our economy is the way it is.

On a side note I paid $2.99 a gallon for gas yesterday. the first time i filled up my truck for less than $70 in 3 or 4 years... can't complain about that too much

This country is so screwed up, I often wonder what will be left for my children when they are my age. For years I spend more time and money trying to find something made in the USA. My father brought us up that way, and my grandfather preached it too. Support the local business when possible, and always try to buy made in the USA. I'd guess WWII and Vietnam will do that to a man...makes you appreciate your country a little more.

I thought my 1500 was made in Warren, MI but remember seeing that the motors were made in Mexico. Didn't know the 2500 was made down there too. GM's are similar....a lot of vehicles made in Mexico or Canada nowadays. :4-dontknow: Other than the Corvette, not a whole lot made here. Could be worse...our friends north of the border (Canadians) make the vehicles, and then pay like 4-5k more than us here in the USA. How's that for an insult? :Wow1:

tell me about it, all the vehicule are more expensive here, the gas also, and everything else,..

my winter tire are made in canada, i bought them in usa for almost 1/2 price,..
Right next to my work is the Labatt Brewery in London, Ontario.
I can cross the border into Michigan and buy Labatt Blue there for way cheaper!
We like to buy MADE in CANADA goods here for the same reasons as our friends in the US like to support their economy.
It's getting close to impossible.

It is quite the insult... Oh well, not much I can do about it. At least we know its still built well.
At least I got a little over $10K off the sticker price of my new RAM, so I didn't really see the extra cost
Seems these days, only the name plate is American, everything else is either made in China lol or 75% U.S. and Canadian parts content and yeah, as said, and people wonder why our economy sucks.....
