I miss driving stick, is it possible to swap out to a manual tranny on my 2005 1500? Im not sure if this has been discussed before and i couldnt find anything so i figured id ask.
I'd assume the manual gearbox that comes on the 4.7L (not sure if they ever made hemi's with a manual) would bolt up. The 4.7L and hemi share the same bellhousing bolt pattern I think. The hardest part would probably be getting the pcm to behave.
they did offer a manual in the 2500 and 3500 Hemis .....if I were to planning to do that I would put the T-56 that was put in the SRT-10s in mine,and some of the parts would be available to do so.....
