When i bought my truck it had no issues but its also a 1995 so things happen. Ive replaced the spark plugs with Bosch platinum's i replaced the cap rotor and wires with BWD parts i replaced the egr valve i ran a can of seafoam through it and now im running a tank of premium through it to make sure its not in my fuel, so my problem is when i accelerate over 25 mph its got a bad misfire, when its cold out it accelerates fine and drives fine until it warms up. when its warm it chugs and misfire horribly. I talked to my dad about it and he said it was the vacuum line running to my distributor which makes sense but i wanted some other opinions. O yeah its a 1995 dodge ram 1500 with the 5.9L v8 46rh trans if the accounts for anything. any input would be great thanks. and if anybody can give me the locations for vacuum lines too that would be awesome

Dont get fancy. The platinum is only for long-life in applications where the plug-change requires the removal of the intake. Factory specs are fine to start with. Possible fuel-pump going? On the 95's there is "schrader" style valve on the fuel rail next to the fuel inlet. Basically a tire valve! You can plumb-in a fuel pressure test kit to it, then run the gauge under your wiper, and verify if you are getting the 45-55 psi you need while driving.

i haven't checked my fuel pressure but i am about 100% its not that i could be wrong, i did have the fuel pump go out in my 95 Dakota and the symptoms were nothing like this, but again different truck so i could be wrong. I will have to do that soon I was just trying to make sure i didn't get water in my tank somehow, i know its rare but it happens. I changed the coil pack last night but it didn't seem to help at all so plugs are next and fuel pressure afterwards i guess.
