I had the same problem took it back to the dealer the other day to get recalls fixed and the moaning noise looked at, turns out there is a technical service bulletin out about this problem they ordered me the parts to hopefully fix the problem, fingers crossed...... I will update after the parts come in.

The service bulletin is 05-001-19. It lists 4 part numbers needed on the bulletin. I haven't had it done yet but will on my next oil change.

Taking mine is Thursday for gas tank replacement , They said the fix on the brakes was replace all 4 calipers? Doing the ground fix for the power steering and the power brake peddle fix. My steering wheel is only heating on the bottom half. I took my laser heat sensor out this am and it was 80 on the lower part and 38 on the top. This is after remote start and 5 min warm up. my old 2015 would have been hot all the way around by that time.

Just an update from me, been to the dealer twice now, got a loaner, only to be told twice the parts have been superseded and they still have not fixed my brakes. Going back a third time supposedly when new parts arrive. I'm about fed up with the dealership. I'm going on 4 hours of missed work, and still have not fixed my brakes. I'm thinking about getting a lawyer.

Anyone have real noisy brakes when applying in reverse? Especially after the truck sits awhile.
Truck sits all night, back it out of the driveway and under light brake pressure, there's an awful moan noise...not scraping, but a groan. Seems like it's coming from the back.
It's going into the dealer, but just wondering if this is a common problem with the new model.

Edit...this is my wife's 2019 Ram Big Horn.
I have a 2919 Ram1500 Laramie, 7000 miles.
Once the temps got colder out about 2 months ago. I started to notice a loud growling from my front brakes.
Its loud.
I took it in to the dealer.
They couldnt recreate it.
Because they didnt go in reverse! Even after I told them too.
Needless to say I have to make another service appointment an let the truck sit overnight so they can hear it. It will be loud.
I'm 52 and I have owned many vehicles in my lifetime. Non have ever done this. This is not normal.

We have the exact same issue. 2019 RAM Limited. We have not taken it to the dealer at this writing.

They shouldn't need to recreate it...there's a bulletin on the problem. I did record a small video for my dealer. Put the phone on "record" and held it out the window while backing.
BTW, they did do the bulletin and it fixed it for about 2 months. Back to moaning and groaning brakes every morning. By far the worst brakes on any of my Ram's (2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018 (2500 Cummins)). Actually, this is the worst overall Ram I've had. Problem after problem.

I have a 2019 Rebel. It sits in a heated garage all night and moans to beat hell when I back out in the morning. I've got 35,000 miles on it already and it's been doing it since almost mile 1. dealer says the breaks are fine. I'm not real handy when it comes to auto repair so I've just trusted the dealer so far. But they do know I'm annoyed!

Per the Service Bulletin (05-002-19), the dealership doesn't need to reproduce the symptoms; it's enough that the customer "describes the symptom/condition."
Get yourself a copy of the TSB and show them if need be.

The customer may comment on the following:
• A low frequency moan or howl noise from the rear brakes, primarily in cold/humid conditions,
typically on the first brake stop in forward or reverse, after vehicle has been sitting for lengthy
periods of time (cold brakes).

DIAGNOSIS:
If the customer describes the symptom/condition listed above, perform the Repair Procedure.

Same problem here. Gonna look into the service bulletin. Thanks.

For all those with this issue, it is imperative you take it to the dealer, the only way we can help the thousands of ram owners who are not on this forum is by getting the attention of Ram by bringing this up to as many dealerships as possible. You can also contact Ram Cares and document your issue.
I took my 2019 to the dealer they could not duplicate (of course it didn’t sit for hours) they wouldn’t do anything to try to help. Very frustrating
