I think I need to spend more time checking out the For Sale section.

On 11 May 2011, I purchased a set of lightly tinted taillights from BiggBerger, http://www.ramforumz.com/showthread.php?t=82245.
I received them today :woohoo:, which was highly unexpected, as most shipments that come across the 'Free Trade' border, get stuck....sometimes for weeks.

:worthless:

Yah, yah....I know....shut up and show us pix... :redx:

Pic 1 - The infamous box -

Pic 2 - My personal favorite - Canadian Import Extortion Fees (AKA 'FREE' Trade Fee)

Pic 3 - What's in the Box? (If you missed the title, and didn't read rambling above.... :))

Pic 4 - Here's where the mod starts. :smiley_thumbs_up:

Pic 5 - Left one's done.

Pic 6 - Right one's done.

Pic 7 - High level is done.....that's all of them! :)

Pic 8 - Here's the OEM lights....might sell them at some point, but will hang on to them for a while in case I get a new truck that the tinted one's fit.

My impressions - The quality and finish on these tail lights is absolutely outstanding. As BiggBerger stated in his ad, these are professionally painted and clear coated....and boy does it show! The quality of the finish is far superior to the OEM lights.

Like I stated above.....I need to spend more time in the For Sale section. Even with the extortion fees, I came out ahead of the game big time.

Thank You BiggBerger for making these available, and thank you to all the other members that have done the same.

Keep your stock lights, if you ever get pulled over for smoked taillights like I did you will need them to pass inspection. I got pulled over in my Dak and had my truck inspected. 170.00 dollar ticket. F'n random vehicle inspections. Didn't matter, when I traded in my Dak two weeks ago first thing I did was tint my tails and third brake light on the new truck.

Debadge it now!
THAT!!!! was to be this weekends project. Had all the stuff ready, opened the box with the 3M eraser wheel..........That is NOT an eraser wheel....it's a paint stripper wheel!

Debadge on hold. :(

I'll be real interested in what they tell me at the body supply shop on Tuesday.

So....no debadge pix here....that will be another day, and another thread.

Nice lights there Brad! Just a FYI when shipping to Canada use USPS. About 90% of the time you will not get the brokerage fee raping.

Thanks for the shipping tip.
Now that you mention it, the last few things I received via USPS, left me feeling a little less sodomized. :)

The tails and high level light were custom tinted by flipscustomtails. They are the factory OEM tails that he tints. I use the factory bulbs in them. :)
