Three more mods down, infinite more to go. This past week's mods:
Roll-X [Hide]
Window Tint[Hide]
Catch Can[Seep]
Starting with the window tint, I went as dark as allowed in TX. I didn't realize how much of a difference it makes until I can across some pictures from when I had just bought it.
Catch can has already been doing it's job, with a 1/4oz in it's first 200 miles since install. I can't imagine what has gotten sucked in to the engine the first 8400 miles!!
And now the Lengthy part...
Roll-X was easy to install and was my first opportunity to make use of my recently reclaimed shop! It took about 40 minutes to install by myself, but I didn't realize I needed to relocate the straps for the cover(to hold it in place while rolled up) until I watched a couple of videos AFTERWARDS.. There's a slight "alignment" issue that shouldn't hurt anything, but catches my eye every time that I walk past. There appears to be a 'gap' on the passenger side of the bed at the cab that is not present on the driver's side. It shouldn't hurt anything, as everything aligns evenly at the tailgate end. Maybe the bed itself is not square? In any case, it rained the 2 days following installation(200miles of driving included) with no signed of leaks or any other problems. Couldn't be happier with it!
