So I had my tail gate down for a few days last week cause I had my snowmobile in the bed. Thursday it rained pretty hard. Friday the camera display seemed foggy today its still the same.
I took the hair dryer to it today and the fog on the lens went away, when I put it in reverse still foggy. Took the camera out of the tailgate thought maybe the lens cover would come off, nope all one piece. So took the dryer to it again, still foggy.

Should I just wait alittle while see if it clears it's self up or call the dealer?

Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks.

If it doesn't clear up in a day or two, time for a trip to the dealership, if you are under 36,000 miles, it should be covered by warranty

Just before i hit 36,000 miles, i bought a Max Care Lifetime warranty
Next week i will have had my Ram for 3 years & i am at 61,000 miles

have a 2011 had the same problem , washed the box out with gate down... foggy. waited a day or 2 did not clear. Called booked it in to dealer, next day backed out to take it to dealer camera worked fine, they could not find a problem .. month later gate got wet again camera foggy , rushed it into dealer , they replaced the camera , bonus is the new camera has back up lines on it,
if i was that close to my warranty running out , i would get it in asap , next time it goes it might have 36,001 ...

Got a new camera installed for free covered under warranty. This one has the red/yellow lines.
