:sad:hey guys, its jsut one thing after another -.-
so i drove my truck all day yesterday, not a problem.
hopped in this morning to go to work, i have no signal or brake lights.
i checked the fuses, hazard an brake lights were popped, changed em.
checked the flasher distributor, it was cooked, changed it.
fired er up, heard a crackle from the fuse box, the brand new flasher distributor was melted down to almost nothing, WTF?! i take it its a wire or a short somewhere. i got the lights working but only the right side, so if anyone has any info on this or where to start id love you forever =)
Thanks guys,
Mike.

I'd pull the tail lights out and trace the wires from the sockets to the cab.

Does it have trailer wiring?

What are the reverse lights doing?

Try unplugging the tail light sockets? One then the other?

What does the wiring to the license plate lights look like?

^x2. Had the same issue recently, trailer leads had chaffed on the bumper and shorted it out. If you are popping flashers and fuses, you have a short some place.
