I have an 06 1500 that I want to put wheels and tires on. I have a 3" front and 2" rear lift. from what I've read on her I will be able to fit 35's on. I am looking at the moto metal 962 wheels to put on the truck. My question is the rims come in 20x9 with zero offset or a 20x12 with a -44 offset. I want to get the 20x12 so I can set myself up for a 6" lift later with 37's I just don't know how far they will stick out past the fenders. Anyone have any idea what it would do for me?

I am running the stock rims and tires right now. I just want to know how far they would stick out. That 2500 is nuts I think if I would do that I would have some rubbing issues with them sticking out that far. That and the cops would learn my name real quick. I have a couple other ideas for wheels. I just thought the 20x12 would work out so I wouldn't have to find another set of wheels later.

the cops would know you very quick, un written rule up here is if you take your driver license and stand it up against the outer edge of your body (or flares, your tires cant stick out past that.... but its up too the cop.... people would be following you around looking for new windsheilds and your paint and body of your truck would be destroyed if they looked like that 2500... I just figured it would give you a bit of an idea... they are going to stick out alot...

I found the same moto metal 962 wheels in a 18x10 with a -24 offset with a 35x12.50. I'm thinking that it will stick out some but not anywhere near those 20x12's and make the truck look pretty aggressive.

that should be alot better, that is 3 inches less than the other wheels/ offset so it deffinetly wont be out as far and should look great if u put flares on, or even if u dont... post some pics if you get them!
