Sorry for so many post but my truck is still having problems. this is going to be long detail but it might shed light on the problems. bought my truck about a year ago and noticed it had lack of power problems and figured it would be a easy repair. the power is hit and miss while under full load. ive cleaned throttle body and replaced all the sensor on the throttle body and no luck, i bought an after mark cold air intake and new gasket but still had the problem. i then replaced the plus, cap and rotor. still have the problem. bought a new pcv valve and still have the problem. had the transmission serviced and still have the problem. changed my 02 sensors and still nothing. let my truck sit for about a month and somebody stole my cat so i just put a straight pipe in and still have the problem. earlier today i checked my oil and it smelt of gas and figured i would change my oil and when i drained it i only had about 1- 1 1/2 quarts of oil i it. my gas mileage has always been between 12-12 1/2 mpg. my truck always starts up first try and never cranks very long. ive noticed from the day i bought the truck that it has a lot of moisture coming from the tailpipe. it has very little smoke going from the tailpipe. the truck does rev up when you start and while accelerating the idle will stay up and fall with very little backfire and it hit and miss on when it does it. ive read and been told that it could be the belly pan gasket. im trying to figure out if that could be the problem and now why my oil smells of gas i could say and wither or no the watery oil is due to the cat missing or if its because of the belly pan gasket could be causing both problems.
the truck never uses coolant and is my only means of transportation and the money is tight since i was laid off.

Well from the sounds of it and what ive read it sounds like intake or belly pan or both. So if you do one do both.
