Muffler Swap... What to do?

Wondering what to do for a muffler swap. I want to keep the single pipe and just swap out the stock muffler for an aftermarket one. I was thinking a Magnaflow 24 or 18 inch, or possibly a Cherry Bomb Vortex. I know that Magnaflow has a great reputation but I haven't heard much about Cherry Bomb, anyone have experience with them? I'm looking for something that's not too loud, nice rumble at idle and a fair bit louder when on the gas but nothing crazy. What do you think?

I had the same dilemma. Ended up picking up a Mufflex/Magnaflow 24" & am very happy with my choice. My main concern was so many people posted there wouldn't be much of a change over stock - but there is no comparison. Very happy i didn't go with the 18" - think it would have been too loud for me.

Maganflow is really nice, especially for the money. They are completely stainless steel so will last pretty much forever. They are all also "straight through" designs, which means basically no restriction what so ever, look at a cutaway of a magnaflow on google you'll see it is basically a straight pipe. The magnaflows have packing that will burn up after a while, so they will get louder, so if you start with the 18" in a year or two it will probably be as loud as the 14". I plan on getting an 18" because I don't want it to be too loud in a few years... The only other mufflers I have experience with are flowmaster, and they sound decent, but are somewhat restrictive and rust fast.
