Ok so far I started with a 2010 2wd Ram 1500 Laramie. Shes got it all except 4 wheel drive and the ram box, wish i had both of those. :i_rolleyes:

The day i bought her.

So far i have got the windows tinted and put on a Magnaflow mufflex DOD18 muffler.

So now i want bigger tires, still running stocker size right now. I was thinking the Nitto Trail grappler but im still not 100% sure what to go with yet.
If i do go with the nitto trails do i get the:
LT295/65R20 E 129/126Q (Overall Width: 12.13, Overall Diameter: 35.47)
or
LT295/60R20 E 126Q (Overall Width: 12.13, Overall Diameter: 34.45)
or a completely different size??

I am open to suggestions on the tire brand and size. I would like a MT tire for the aggressive look and i do some work on the family farm but also do highway/city driving as well. *im keeping the stock 20" chrome rims*

I do have a 2" truxxx level kit on the way along with rough country 1/4" spacers, (http://www.topguncustomz.com/p-7809-025-09-11-dodge-ram-wheel-spacers-kit-5x55-bolt-pattern.aspx) just to be on the safe side when i do decide on a tire. It should be here soon. :smileup:

I am also kicking around the idea of getting some different shocks that would be a littler longer than stock to accommodate the level kit so as to keep the stock ride. i would like some suggestions on these as well.
* i cant use the bilstien 5100 adjustable shocks due to the fact they are 4x4 only*

Other mods on the list are:
Volant CAI
Spray in bed liner (line-x or rhino liner?)
WeatherTech Extreme-Duty DigitalFit Floor Liners
Maybe a different gear ratio due to bigger tires (not sure which?)
Some halo lights, they look sweet! (havent researched enough yet)

Thats all i can think of/ remember right now! Any suggestions, input and of course pictures :smileup: are welcome!

Nice lookin truck man! Just a word of caution on the 295/60-20's. Another owner here experienced tire rub from contacting the upper control arm running that exact size on his OE 20's with the +19mm offset. You definitely want to run a +5mm or less so as to avoid tire contact to your control arms. Or invest in some wheel spacers with the built in hubcenter rings like these.

I love the magnaflow! I recorded some pro quality audio of it the other day at idle and revving it up a little in the parking lot at work, i need to post up the video. I went with the 18 because i wanted a good deep sound, no cabin drone but responsive when you step on it. Also i didnt want something so loud that it woke the neighbors and rattled windows even though I woulda been fine with it just thinking of other :smileup: its highly recommended easy install expect the stock muffler was a bitch to get out! and one of my exhaust tips seems to sit a little lower but i think that my fault somehow, haven't figured out how to get it back up :4-dontknow: but its not noticeable by anyone else just me. You know how it is you notice things others dont on your own ride!

Thanks! i love the color! Originally i was looking for a silver but when i locked eyes on this blue i was sold! I dont think they are making this color of blue anymore in the newer models, i could be wrong though.

i just ordered my Volant CAI today for 300 shipped best price i have ever seen on these!

Ill get em on ASAP if not sooner! Im going to wait to put the level on when i do the tire also that way i can just knock it out all out at once! I will be doing the install along with help from a buddy of mine who is a mechanic so by that i mean ill be doing what he tells me he is also going to mount and balance the wheels for me. Its nice to know people you can trust to work on your ride! If the Volant come in today hopefully i can put it in tonight. Not sure of how long the install will take, shouldnt be too long. i remember seeing a detail install thread on here somewhere they guy ended up having to mod the mod so ill be looking at that if i can find it again.

Yeah something about drilling another hole and maybe a couple other small adjustments which blows my mind that the design team of Volant has these over sights on their product.

So you are aware of it. That is a bonus as you are prepped for it.
This is the reason why I did not go that route.
You pay so much for something that needs to still be modded slightly

Yeah i know what you mean BUT brad did an excellent step by step of his install and ill be following that to the T :smileup: hopefully only a few choice words will be used during the install thanks to his thread but ill be ready! :box2:
