well as I've never attempted to open factory heads, and from all the trouble people have, vs how easy these were to bake apart, I highly recommended aftermarket assemblies. if you ever do it I will help as much as possible, anyway I can
, I asked another member for help and his reply was use the search feature. that's cool ill remember to not give reps to you some day Mr use the search engine.

anyways sorry bout that, really ticked me off. color is a secret? I think at one point I said the color in a different thread lol. ill reseal with the original silicone and add high temp silicone as needed, baking it all back together

and ill definitely get pics to ya Asur
Some people, eh?
Anyways, I give you reps for doing this (not sure if I can give you reps yet as I am not sure I gave out 10 yet.
Ill try, If it goes through, even better, otherwise I own you.

But yea, this is something I wont do. So I commend you for doing this.
I would hate to mess up my headlights

**EDIT** spread out your reputations before giving you some more. Thats the wording i got. Not exactly those words, but you get my point.....LOL

lol that price keeps dropping, if I had aftermarket lights I'd bake them apart as these OEM ones don't come apart as easily as yours did ya lucky bastard lol Asur you should send me those Blue Halo's lol good job on the painting bud, reminds me I need to paint my.fuse box cover that I cut up when I get the truck back. Good idea with the clear coat that should help stop the fading as well
Wha Steven said ^^^!
4th gen OE's are a PITA. TYC after markets come apart much easier.
If I can find another set to try this out, I will certainly try it

yes

here's just the projector,shrouds and H1 bulbs, what I have 120$ - http://www.theretrofitsource.com/product_info.php?products_id=3181

vs

the whole kit for 295$ - http://www.theretrofitsource.com/product_info.php?cPath=24&products_id=237

if you already have a preinstalled hid kit, they recommend the first option I posted, and saved a ton of money doing so. I talked with Andrew there extensivly about doing a retrofit. He was extremely helpful
Thanks man!
Saved the page.....

I would try and find a set of clean used Headlights off Ebay or something and mod those, then if I screw up, its not to bad, if I kill them, oh well, if they fall apart on the truck down the road I can put my others back in. That sort of idea. Theres something good about always having something original to pop back in if there is an issue.
I agree!
I actually would like a back up to the back up and work with those....LOL

WOW bud!
Absolutely amazing!

In the 2nd last picture against the garage, is it the wall or do you need to rotate the projector to the left as it is ever so leaning to the right?
It could be the wall.... but the damn passenger side, is sharp as a knife
