I'm more than pleased with how well it turned out. Like you said the headlights line up with the drop in in the bumper so well.

Next up is trying to find a sport grill and a way to fill the gap a bit. I'm thinking some diamond plate plasti dipped black.

Ok I lied... next up is my hid converted fog and driving lights... I have those I just need to put em on and wire em up

Oh a side note...

The step pad on the new bumper is sitting in my garage, with it off I might mount something under it for the gap...

Looks good! What about mounting them in the holes where fog lights would go on a 3rd gen? And I wonder if there's a way to mold something to make the bumper completely straight instead of dipping below the grill

I'm going to put some 3rd Gen factory fogs there anyways. The sport grill is gunna fill it out a lot, and I don't want to modify the bumper, I like the drop it has.

The goal is to produce enough light from the front end to mimic the sun ha...

I didn't get a chance last night, but for sure tonite ill get some night photos.

I doubt there's a kit from hella.

I had a collection of hid ballasts and bulbs laying around from the wife's car. There ddm tuning 55w 9006 or h3. There a small hid bulb so its a perfect fit. I powered em by loping the 9006 female plug off and then wiring.em up to the switch. I also ran a 30 amp fuse inline like a standard hid kit has. Its a really simple conversion and it yeilds untold amounts of light. Ill take pics tonite.

If you want a step by step write up ill do one.

Well disregard all that talk about PIAAs being used on my ram.

according to PIAA (I emailed em directly) the best way to get the replacement lenses is 4 wheel parts online. And 50 bucks a pop, I might as well hold off and get my Hella 500 fog patterns that I was going to get anyways. At under 80 bucks for both lamps, its a better deal in my eyes...
