Motorcycle first then I will dive into the lighting.. I gotta stay away from this site when I get money saved up or the hopes for a motorcycle will be out the window lmao
It's going to suck when I get the bike. I went to school to be a motorcycle tech so I have no issue at all ripping the engine down and doing internal mods. The truck I am only partly knowledgeable on when it comes to the engine so I am not as crazy as I could be. So needless to say the bike will probably end up getting most the mod money at first then it will start balancing between the two.
All I got to say is when my fiance and I get married there will be an open bar and knowing some of my friends they will make a "smoking" section. There again I told the ol lady that the wedding is hers and I would not take that from her.. but the reception is mine and I apologize for any hospital bills or damage claims ahead of time.
Yea long as I have my own space to do what I want then she can do whatever the hell she wants. Just need a place to work on the truck and bike and a place to put all my workout gear.. Garage suites quite nicely so yup she can have the house and I will just put a cot, space heater and mini-fridge in the garage
The one company I ran with had Kenworth's and I always loved having the built in mini fridge in the bunk. Always had a cold energy drink when on the run and if I wanted I could have a bowl of cereal for breakfast lol.
Yea I am stealing that turn signal idea when I mount up my cab lights.. that is bad ass and would definitely cause some funny looks from people. As for the cab light guessing game I got not a clue. Just thought I would chime in saying that I am stealing that idea lol
Don't feel bad about the cab lights.. I have been contemplating.. cue suspenseful music.. Ford cab lights for mine. I like how they look over the Dodge ones. We will see though.. Oh and only a couple more weeks til I have the money saved up for the motorcycle, so mods will soon be trickling back into my thread lol. I have so many different ideas now that I haven't been able to mod (nor have I been able to drive my truck since Tuesday).
Found a Honda VTX1300 for a good price.. not a Harley but it will do for now I guess.. They at least sound good when ya throw a V&H setup with deleted baffles on it heh. Down the road though I am getting my Softail whether the ol' lady likes it or not
See told ya'll the white lettering works good with an all black rim
The truck came out great with your Plasti-Dip adventure man. I may have to do my bumper now and see how long it holds up. Just as long as it keeps until I can save up for the Line-X I would be happy heh.
Hm I think I will see how y'alls lights turn out before I do mine.. Not much of a choice really with having no more money at the moment lol. Which one of you is doing a write up on this because I know once this gets spread across the site it will be a must have to a lot of people on here.
No, I will definitely have to mention it to him though because I am sure he will be in heaven being on here. It doesn't help though his brother is a diesel mechanic and has a 3G RAM (looks exactly like mine but stock and is an LB) that is a Cummins so he already has that source of mod info, but I am sure this site wouldn't help him any at all lol
Hey hey hey I been working and cashing out money for body work and then working lol. Didn't think me takin a slight break from here would cause an uproar but relax, I have returned and it will be alright. Still saving up for that bike though soooo might be a little bit til any major mods show up on the truck.
