Well its the first time ive ordered leds from somewhere other than vleds.com so I'm still a bit cautious but quite a few people swear by superbrightleds so I should be alright.

ha.... where to start.
out of the 10 leds i bought, 1 was the right part. 7 were too small and 2 were too big...
so back to the website to order more and drop em an email to see if i can possible return those 9 that dont work. if not oh well... it was only 20 bucks.

thats because there leds for the dash, and at 2.50 a pop, the tab doesnt run up too quickly. i hear ya tho, when i did my interior leds i went all out and paid alot for it. now im considering changing the white leds inside to red...

Alright I figured I'd give my try at a video of exhaust, so later tonite ill try a start up and an in cab cruise. I've also got a easy little mod I did recently to include plus a pretty sick mod some of you 4th gens might enjoy ( and 3rd gens too)
We shall see where this goes... hopefully no state boys will be hanging around the interstate tonite... haha

and heres the videos ive made. id apologize for the poor video (audio) quality, but honestly i cant... i recorded on my phone and the video camera, and my phone won out. the straight pipes really do a number for audio quality haha

with the in cab run, the audio quality just cant catch it in my opinion... towards the end i punch it to merge to the interstate, and its insane. infact it almost makes me want to put on a muffler...

i installed a led up in my overhead to shine down some red light. i wired it to the fuse box with the interiors illumination, so when i switch the parking/headlights on, on comes the red led. suckers pretty bright too.

Torque
and to any 3rd of 4th gens looking, check this out. it works ok on my 2000, but the newer the vehicle, the more functions will be available. Its called Torque, an app for the andriod based phone that syncs your ecu and phone with a bluetooth obd 2 adaptor. it provides real time information not limited to rpms, gps speed, mpg, oil/intake/exhaust/trans temps, fuel curves, etc... the list goes on. now for my 2000, theres limited options it can do, but it still provided info that my instrument cluster doesnt. you can graph data on runs as well. it also functions as a diagnostic tool for running codes, at which point it will link to your internet and provide a detailed look at the specific code. the app has a free version or a paid, obviously with more functions. the adaptor i snagged off ebay for 20 bucks. heres some basic functions i could get. if its blank in the photo, its not being provided from my ecu.
speed is on point as i was running past a radar at the same time and it was spot on 31.

so what about adding fog lights into the space in the bumper? i put spyder halo projector fog lights in the space in my bumper and i love them. you should check them out.

i looked into those when i saw em on ebay. still havent made my mind up if i want them or not. hows the light output compaired to factory? im looking for maximum lighting.
