haha. that thought never crossed my mind. but considering how crafty people are with viruses and what not, its not much of a stretch to imagine someone running a virus aimed for a ecu through this manor. doubtful tho.

i tried it on my buddys magnum (has a hemi) and he was snagging oil temp, air fuel ratios, an exhaust temp, and some others that i certainly wish mine would pull. when you connect to the adaptor, one of the first screens that pops up is a full listing of what your current application can show.
mine shows me these
-vehicle manufacturer
-vin number
-fault/trouble codes
-fuel system status
-calculated engine load
-coolant temp
-short term fuel % trim bank 1
-long term fuel % trim bank 1
-intake manifold pressure
-intake air temp
-Engine RPM
-Vehicle Speed (ecu and gps calculated)
-Timing advance
-Throttle position
-02 sensor present
-bank 1, sensor 1, 02 sensor short term fuel trim
-bank 1, sensor 2, 02 sensor short term fuel trim
-Aux. input status
-OBD standards current vehicle conforms to
-Google Mapping with GPS
-Test results and logging
-adaptor status
-

I paid 20 bucks, on eBay.
On the apps home screen there's a help button that takes you to the wiki for the app. There's a link on there of all adaptors that work, prices range from the 20 dollar China eBay Amazon one to more expensive ones for 100+. I searched around to figure why some are more expensive and the only reason is quality of the adapter. Apparently some of the eBay ones are faulty and don't work well? I don't have a problem and I've been using it for a year. Anyways here's a link to that page with the adapters

Awesome thanks. There are some expensive adapters lol. I'll probably go for the ebay one too. I have my app set up with acceleration, speed, throttle, load, and maf in dials and then acceleration, throttle, load, maf, and mpg average(just to see how off my evic is) in display

Nice man. I don't have a heads up for my MPG but I calculated my MPG t0 17-18 hwy and when I'm cruising at 70 on the interstate torque shows 17 for the average. So I figure its pretty close on my account. I can knock it all the way down to 1 when 1 when I punch it haha. It really is a lot of fun to play with. I wish I would have compaired my intake air temp with the stock setup vs the cai and against my cai with the ram air I built.

WARNING - RANT
after an awesome 12 hour shift, I come up to my truck to find someone from my work hit my ram. The damage was minimum, a small dent in my 08 bumper and cracked a lenses on oneof my Hid Hella 500s. I'm livid about the lights. What makes this even better is it was either someone from the dayshift or my shift. One would think in a police dept someone would have the common sense to fess up and leave a note or come find me, 90% of the people I work with know my truck. Worse case scenario you give me the money to fix it and problem solved no hard feelings. Now by not saying anything you've p*@$ed me off and messed with my truck. IDIOTS.
