yea exactly... all thanks to owning 2 second gens, a mod idea from my first flows and ends up on the second one. and then i wish i had done some of the ones on my 2000 on my 99 sport. it never ends!

Could spend the money on plenty of things but not as much fun lol. I agree on the HD bumper price tag. The cost is waaaaay to much. I will just make due with a brush guard.

Yup. Would be nice but by the time I add a prerunner/light bar, I can weld plates in, it will look tough. I still.need a sport grill and 3rd gen fogs for the bumper, oh and a rear bumper haha, might do a 3rd or 4th gen

Oh I had a great idea for lighting as well for the front end of my truck.. Just got to get the brush guard on to see if it will work out as good as I hope it will. If it does work then you and I might just have the sunniest trucks on the forum heh

As soon as I get the fogs for the bumper that's 8 hids up front. I'm set for any driving condition.

You doing hids or what? Leds?

Entire front end will be HID, besides the LED's in the head lights. Have some other places I am going to try and stick HID's a couple other places on the front heh.

Awesome. I'm looking forward to it. I was actually pondering a set in the rear but that strictly an idea now, other things are on the plate for mods. I finally was able to throw some reps your way for the lift.

HD bumper? Like from the 2500/3500? Or like a front bumper replacement like a ranch hand?

Replacement like a ranch hand. I'd love one but I think ill make my current setup better. Weld some plates around the back of the bumper or frame.

Ahh gotcha. Yeah they're pricey. The dealer said the one on mine was like $2,000 installed but I didn't have to pay for it. Just paid msrp minus the $6,000 rebate. Now the back bumper is gonna be around $1,000 installed

I've certainly seen a few that would look awesome but I'd much rather paint my truck or start an engine build.

Thanks for the reps lol. Yea they run way to much for the HD bumpers man. You can pick up a brush guard and make it just as good, sometimes even better, than the replacement bumper. Plus most the HD's that are somewhat cheaper than most usually stick waaaaaay out infront of the truck which is a no go for me. Needs to sit up closer to the grille and have a winch area in the lower bumper section. Til I can find that setup I am sticking with a brush guard.

I'm thinking a winch between the frame behind my bumper, the 08bumper makes for a lot of room since it curves out... then run the cable through the gap in the bumper, weld up some feed trays for the cable. Hmm I like that idea.

See I just gave ya a new project. I signed on here at the wrong time cause I noticed a post by RIPP. They are working on a SC kit for 05-08 and may be offering a group buy.. Needless to say I am saving money up now for a kit so I can pick it up soon as it is available. I love/hate this forum so much.

Thanks. I don't even want to think about my engine. With 250000 on it I don't think its worth it. Ill build one next year. Torque monster.

Could do a LED engine dress up rig. Would have probably be all custom routing but that would be kinda bad ass. I might do that if/when I get the SC tucked under the hood.

For sure on the new engine. I've been doing some homework and I'm thinking a 318 stroker, turning it into a 396. The stroker kit is 1300. Going this route means same wiring harness, same Ecuador, and same everything. Just would need a custom program built for the ecu. That's the plan. Along with leds haha
