Correction.

Ha... embarassing... anyways.. I "blew" my engine about an hour ago.... and am wondering what is the best thing to do... I burried the truck in sandy water, the exhuast took in water? the air box was "swamped"... noticed oil leaking... then found a hole the size of a cell phone visible from the passenger wheel... its freaking huge.. New engine? wheres the best place to order from?? would anything from the old engine be salvage-able??? I dont know! But I do know how to wreck a nice truck... Incase it doesnt say... its a 2007 Ram Hemi 5.7... any ideas or advice would be appreciated..

i think the cheapest way would be buying a used engine from a savage yard, from a truck around your year model, you might get one for around 1000$ to 2000$

after get a special swamp air intake specialy made for off road so that you dont get sandy water in your intake next time out in water

send it off to a machine shop & get a quick rebuild
or just drop it in & run it

you may need your old manifold & sensors
then sell the rest when it is running in your Ram

I just noticed that you were way up in what my friends call the Cabins, they are in Sudbury

Good Luck
