I want to mount some lights on the front of my truck but cant make sense of how all the bars fit.

I also have parking sensors on the front so am looking for a bar that wouldn't interfere with them?!?!?

I found the Smittybuilt, N-Fab, Westin... I think the westin has worked for some folks but I don't have tow hooks and am not sure how to get in through the bumper to mount it... Is there a way to fit an insert or something similar instead of just cutting the bumper which would look ugly...

Really confused and would appreciate some help.

Cheers

You can either cut the holes yourself or call the dealership and ask for the lower panel for tow hooks and they can order one from the factory. I believe someone around these forums did that for a clean look and only paid $30-40 for the piece.

Most of the bars will mount through the lower grille and into the location for the tow hooks. If you have front parking sensors, you'll most likely have issues with the two sensors closest to the license plate as they will be blocked by the bar. I want to say there are sensor relocation kits, but don't hold me to that as I haven't researched that since I don't have parking sensors.

Best of luck and enjoy the heck out of your new truck!!

The Smittybilt and N-Fab bars will mount through your bumper where the front licence plate fits if you have one, if not then you will have to drill though the bumper. I have the Outdoorsman and have a front licence plate so the holes were already there. The only extra thing I did was put some blue loctite on the bolts for extra security so they don't loosen. I don't have the front sensors so not sure if they would be affected or not. I can post some pics of my set up if you want to see what it looks like.
