Need help removing ignition cylinder without key

So last night after leaving the bar I was shock to find that not only did they break into my truck but tried taking off with it which luckily they were unsuccessful. I dont wanna head to the dealer to get a new ignition cylinder since I know they'll be expensive so I'm gonna pick one up from Advance for $69. I have a 2008 Ram quad cab and I just have the keyless entry with no theft system to they said it should work. The only problem I have is that they messed up the old cylinder and the key only goes in halfway which is a problem since I know the key has to be turned to remove it. Is there anyway I can remove the cylinder since its jammed. My window will be replaced here at home and I have my factory stereo so this is really creating the biggest problem to have my truck back on the road.
