So here's what I have:
2 10inch DVC memphis power reference subs
SPL z2x-1600 amp. They are ran parallel bridged.
They work perfectly and I couldn't ask for anything to work better.

But here's the problem, my friend just bought 2 15in power reference SVC in one box with 2 chambers. with a Memphis PR.1.1000 but the box is too big for is car and he found a better deal, so while he's selling them we thought we'd have some fun and put them in the bed of my truck (my10s are in the cab, along with the 2 amps)
I'm running the rcas and the remote wire off the SPL amp over to the pr. I've tried a few wiring styles but all of them have as soon I've turned them on have sorted making the sound like the polarity is reversed. But they're not haha. I've gone through every trouble shooting step and I'm stumped. Why do they keep making that funky sound?! And ideas and help wold be greatly apriciated. Thanks

P.s. sound is like constant wubs that the volume knob does not affect

Have you tried taking your buddies amp completely out of the mix? If not try disconecting it and hooking up his subs to your amp. It sounds to me like your buddy got ripped off and got a bad amp.... but if thats not the issue you might check the wiring in the box he bought. I've seen this a few times in the past and the culprit was always the amp.:4-dontknow:

Hah thanks, but the amp before we hooked it up worked in his car and the guys car he bought them from. They just apparently don't like my truck? I might swap the amps since my 10s are ran parallel with bridged. And put the 15s on the left/right on my amp. I'll see if that works..
