I just bought a new 3500 dually with the 6.7 and a 3:73 rear end. I drove it 600 miles, mostly highway before loading a 16’ trailer (maybe 4500 lbs total) and driving 2500 miles to Alaska.

I’ve noticed 3 things:

1. There’s a definite lag in the first two gears.
2. There’s a transmission “chirp” when it shifts from 3rd to 4th.
3. The rear air bags (my best guess) release air after I start the truck in the morning and begin to drive. Anyway, the sound seems like a cross between a “poof” and a “pew”. A quick short burst.

Any ideas?
