New owner warranty worries

Hello,I'm a new member and a ex Chev Silverado owner,one test drive in the new Ram Laramie is all it took,amazing truck.My question is, does anyone know what happens to our lifetime warranty's if Chrysler goes bankrupt or works the deal with Fiat?

its in the contract when you bought it, you should still have it, my guess is you are probably going to be safe....dont know if they will keep it...but you should be alright....

Well, warranty coverage by the manufacturer is considered a liability but it's also part of the contract so someone has to take it over. I would imagine your warranty isn't exactly owned by Dodge but rather a warranty service company that balances what they earn on the warranty price balanced against warranty claims.

I'd say you'd have a viable warranty if Dodge/Chrysler re-organizes under bankruptcy.
