New Step Bars

Well I waited a year & half to decide on what bars I really liked. I wanted a polished look, & found some that have polished end caps as well, but curved inward which differs form the Rapter Series. These are Aries Oval Nerf bars from their stealth series:smiley_thumbs_up:. Took less than an hour to install, & I love the way they look!.

Oh by the way, sorry the truck looks so dirty on the Pics...

Take a shot looking down the side to show how far they stick out for us!

Pic whores are NEVER satisfied!

I hope they're better on the DS trucks. They're garbage on the DR series.

Why is that? What have you seen?
Looking good.... Land vehicle Vehicle Car Pickup truck Motor vehicle
I like that color truck....I have the OEM steps myself....I didnt notice if you had mudflaps on your truck but if you dont you might want to seriously consider getting them or the bars will get all kinds of crap on them....especially if the end caps are chromed...

Looks good tho

Just eyed your pics again.....nope, you dont have flaps.....they would be my next investment...
How have they held up? Looking to buy these Aries 4"ovals they look really good with the slight inward bend at the ends.
Dirty huh? your truck looks like you could eat off it, like the steps too.
I'm new to the forum and I have spent all day researching this whole nerf bar topic..... Still have no answers! Everyone that posts pics looks as good as the next! Most have gone with the 4" oval, but then you see the post with the 5" guys..... How is one supposed to choose????
Yeah there are a lot of good choices. I'll be removing and selling my Westins if you are interested. They just don't look right after installing my 2/4 lowering kit.

Thanks for the offer, wasn't considering the "wheel to wheel" bars but after seeing your pics, they look pretty good! I'm gonna think it over some more and I'll get back to you if that's ok?
Yeah man take your time. I'll be out of the country until early september. If you want them then you got first dibs. My truck is garged up in Middletown, DE so they are just down the road from PA.
Here are the Raptor 5" ovals if anyone is curious.

I'm running power steps. I needed a step for my kiddos but a nerd bar (i mean nerf bar) doesn't quite go with the look of my truck. Just joking fellas.

My Raptors seem to be holding up after two years. They're scratched up some, but nothing too bad. Still a good deal for the $$.
I want to remove my stock nerf bars but don't want to be sliding in and out of the truck. don't want to mess up my seat. wish I was an inch taller...that would do the trick!
