Hi Everyone,

Trying to decide between a 2012 Ram 1500 black Outdoorsman Crew with 3.92 axle, 5.7L Hemi shift on the floor on the road for $36,000 (no negotiation yet) or a 2012 black Big Horn Crew 3.55 axle, 5.7L Hemi shift on the floor on the road for 37,500 (no negotiation yet) and (I have to post it...sorry) a 2011 Ford F150 candy red crew Crew 6.5 foot box XTR package 3.73 limited slip 5.0L.

I'm leaning heavy towards the Ram...just not sure which model. Towing would include atv plus two dirt bikes, possibly two horse trailor, hay (round and square bale).

I'm in New Brunswick Canada so pricing is in canadian not US. Dodge dealer is really making the effort to get us in a truck...Ford dealer could care less so it seems.

Any thoughts?

Ram Hemi, 3.92 ratio is great for towing
Have them install the TOW PACKAGE, Brake Controller & Class 4 hitch receiver
a back up camera is great for seeing your hitch & for parking

Make them install one of the better radios as a condition of sale, i would not have a RES radio in my Ram, at least get the RBZ with the touch screen with Uconnect
Get the RHB or RHR if you want Navigation too

Good Luck

I can only tell you that I have been In Fords since 1978. I have had many gas motors and several diesels - The last being a 6-0 . It was not easy for me to leave Ford - but I wanted to be problem free so I ordered a Dodge 3500 It is supposed to land here this week. Good luck with what ever you decide.
