Want to get into the Power Wagon world ever since we drove them in the Air Force. two questions I haven't found yet:

1. Does the 2014 6.4 Require Premium fuel?

2. Has anyone removed the massive decal on the rear side panels, how easy?

okay, so maybe three questions.

Looking at a 2014 in Colorado, that has the side flame things, maybe too much, would like to leave the "POWER WAGON" side script on side and back, but remove the "flames"

thanks guys

Welcome from Maine. Check with any body shop how to remove decals. Pretty sure the 6.4 truck motors run on 89 octane, 87 is ok and premium is not needed, unless you get a tuner and tune for it. Powerwagons are awesome, btw. Look at my avitar, 1945 Dodge WC, what I learned to drive on.

I was able to download the 2014 owners manual and it states 87 octane, so cool.
I guess I could use the hair dryer to remove the decals, I just wondered if anyone had done it yet.

thanks for responding Hydrex

I'm not sure anyone has done it yet. From what I understand they are a fairly expensive option. If you really don't want them on the truck, I might suggest ordering one in, unless you need a vehicle now. If you can stand to wait, I'd order one with the options you want, such as not having the decals. I know else where people have been leaving them on because it would just be money down the drain. Just my 2 cents... good luck!
