Excuse me if this is already posted somewhere but I do not see it. I am looking to buy new wheels and tires for my 07 1500 but Im not too sure on how to figure out if they will fit stock, or if i will need a lift, and if i do need a lift, what size...

I am currently looking at a 20x9 wheel with a 305/55/20 tire...

I have seen a few things talking about offsets as well, but i have no idea what that is.

If you can't tell, I really have no idea what I am doing, so answers in Layman's Terms will be greatly appreciated.

Did you search through the tires and wheel section?
There is a lot of information there. The offset is the adjustment you need to prevent the tire from rubbing. I never know how much offset you need to compensate for a wider tire. I usually buy new wheels so that fixes that.
