Hey guys, I am a new 2012 Ram 1500 owner upgrading from an 05 Tacoma. I am very happy with it so far and have already started the Mods process with just a week in I've already got my Cat back exhaust an K&N cold air intake. I've seen alot of good ideas for my next mods in the forums here but I was wondering if anyone can reccomend anything in particular they've done recently that they consider a must do uprade for the 4.7L to get a little more performance? Thanks in advance for all your help!

BD is Bully Dog correct? Not to sound stupid just wanna be sure. Do you run a tuner yourself or know anyone who has run one in their 4.7 to know what type of gains to expect?
I run the BD on my truck, In the summer I run 94 Octane fuel on a 91+ tune, in the winter I run 91 Octane on a 87+ tune. as far a gains, your maybe looking at 10-15 on the 87 tune and 15 - 25 in the 91+ tune depending on your mods, most people will not even notice a 30+ gain, I mostly got the tuner for the shifting, truck sucked before I got the BD and it fixed the tranny shifting points, now I love the way she runs.

Do you run the stock settings they offer for the different octane tunes? Or do you tune it yourself?

I run the stock tunes (can tunes) Bully Dog is a can tune unit, there are things you can change like traction control or transmission shift points, turn off of MDS, but you cannot put on a special tune or change your engine settings
