So I've been a member of this forum for a while. Made very few if any statements pretty much just search the threads for info. But I have a 2005 1500 5.7 with 100,000 miles. I just did a brake job last week because the dealer wanted around $500 for the job and saved myself a bunch of dough. Now I'm in need for a tune-up and they want around $700 for that and won't be doing much more then changing spark plugs and wires or coil packs. Whichever, not quite clear on the tune up procedure. So I Was wondering If I could get a little guidance on what I exactly should be doing for the tune up-spark plugs, wires, coil packs????, Basically just need to know how any of you would go about tuning up a truck way over due of service. Any guidance or help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
