328,000 on the way home from work in Texas yesterday. Headed to Canada next week, so add 4,000 to that by the time I get back to work in August. Just put a short block in it, heads and cam are next. I'm lucky, I got one of the good ones, this V10 is a horse.
I've been off this forum since 2012 when I got rid of my 2010 Ram. I bought it brand new and it made me sad to keep looking at all the trucks. I'm back as I purchased a new to me 2006 SLT Mega Cab with 151k. I plan on keeping this for a long time.
Sort of depends on what you consider high mileage. In general I don't consider anything under 200,000 miles to be high mileage, but if a dude had a 2016 with 100,000 on it already that would be pretty high.
I am not at high mileage for the year or generally. Give it some time
so far 2012 ram 1500 5.7 76k miles. no problems but the hemi tick but it was covered under the powertrain warranty. It was the exhaust Manifold. A buddy of mine has a 2006 Ram 1500 and traded it in at 170k with no issues.
I have 1026xx miles on my ram..... I just picked it up with 102k on it. Great truck so far, I'm blessed that someone cared enough to take care of it as well as they did. One owner, local dealership has all the records.
Just turned 341,000 on my 02 1500 5.9L. Bought it from a friend for $200 after it ran hot and wouldn't stay running. Put in a new water pump, timing chain and IAC sensor and it is running fine. I have put 4k miles on it already.
I got a 2012 ram 1500 fleet truck with 255k miles. It has 295k now. Its the 4.7. DD. Changed all 16 spark plugs which fixed hard starting in 40below. Cv axle went out. Otherwise, still great truck. Original motor and tranny, no work on either except tranny cooler lines. It gets beat too, farmer, pulls more than it weighs, sits outside in winter mn and run everyday hard
