Hey everyone I just picked up my Ram this weekend and I am already looking into doing some performance upgrades as well as some small stuff to the exterior. First off I think I am going to start with plugs, throttle body spacer, and Intake. But I was wondering if I can get some ideas for brands and mechanic info on what to get and what to stay away from!? Thanks guys I am new to the whole Dodge thing.

The TBS does not provide any real performance gains in itself so unless you are tapping it for spray or need it for the CAI fitment then i would disregard that mod.
Here are some sites that i use for mods on the performance side.
Forum Classifieds and Vendors
www.airram.com
www.moesperformance.com (there has been some custom service issues so i would call them in advance for further details)
www.summitracing.com
www.intertiamotorsports.com
www.rockauto.com
www.3rdstrikeperformance.com

I am sure plenty will follow through with their suggestions and valuable input.

Don't bother with the plugs either...stick w/the factory copper plugs every 30K. Do a quick search of the forum and you'll find that our 4.7 doesn't respond well to the fancy aftermarket plugs (E3's, Platnium +4, etc.) like most motors. I've put an AFE Stage 2 CAI and added a Magnaflow 18" muffler on my 07. I don't know if I've added any real power, and my fuel economy is pretty much the same as before, but man Big Blue definitely sounds bad a$$ now. Anyway, congrats on your new ride and best of luck with the upgrades. Enjoy!

Wasap men, hi-flow air filter, good quality oil and oil filter, take out your cat converter if you can, or change the Y pipe for and aftermarket one, and a lots of more fun. But i think thats the more unexpensive and better hp-gas benefits
