I'm in need of some help I just bought a 1999 dodge 1500 4×4 and when starting off from a start it will pop out of first sometimes. Usually happens when the trans gets to operating temp, I was looking into a bushing in the tower is that it?
Thank you

Unfortunately, not likely. The part/s called "1st/reverse clutch hub" and/or the "1/2 synchro ring" are worn or just plain bad. Have you checked the fluid level in the tranny? Even if it's okay, a good place to start could be replacing the fluid with a good quality synchromesh tranny fluid...it might help if the synchro ring is really worn. Stay away from friction modifiers.
