Just wondering what dealers out there charge for full synthetic oil change only the hemi. Just got my first full synthetic and my dealer charged $83. Not complaining just thought that is a little high, but then I don't have to get dirty.

I've never had the stealership do an oil change on my truck. Have you called other dealers in your general area to see what others are charging?

It cost me about $45 to do it myself with Pennzoil Ultra Platinum full synthetic oil and a wix xp filter.

$70-$90 from what I've seen.

I do it for under $60 with Royal Purple oil and a Fram ultra Synthetic filter. It doesn't take nearly as long and I save the time I'd have spent driving to the dealer

When i had my 2009 Dodge Ram w/ 5.7L
I bought my oil from Walmart, i bought a filter from Orielly's or Carquest
I took it to the dealership & they charged me $28 to change the oil & filter, most of that was for waste disposal

The WIX filter that i used cost about $7.00
Walmart charges $ 26.68 per 5 quart jug of Mobile One Synthetic, the engine takes 7 quarts
