Mine has been fairly clear
I think that i have emptied it 2 times now
I put it on at 42,000 miles, it is time to change it again, i just had an oil change at 59,000 miles
I have been using a WIX filter & Mobile One synthetic

fairly clear you mean that it was not oil in its original form, it was kinda diluated with water??

thanks

Not unusual in cold climate.
Not an issue here in Texas.
anyone else??

please
The oil in the catch can is atomized, along with unburnt gasses. It is caught in the catch can before being fed back into the intake to be burned again. It should look different from regular oil, probably more different depending on the temperature and humidity where you're at.

I have one on a 6.1L Hemi and it looks sort of dirty and different from normal oil, but not really watery.
well now that you mention it, it could of been gas and not water,. gas + oil look pretty muck like what i had

Yep. That's what mine looks like :smiley_thumbs_up:.
I am pretty sure from your description that you do short trips in your truck and it does not really warm up like it would on a long trip. On my older vehicles in the winter if I was only driving in town and took the oil fill cap off you would see a brown foamy like covering . In the summer was fine. Only thing you can do is drive the vehicle longer so it warms up and gets rid of the moisture in the crankcase.
Just my uneducated opinion.
well i do short and long trips

it takes me 55minutes to get to work, but i only work 14 days a month

the rest on the times its around the house no more than 5 miles

but it is cold down here, this morning it feels like minus 27 degres celcius

but at the end of the month im going in florida for 18 days,...
