Ok 1998 dodge ram 1500, 5.6, 201,000miles

Ok when I turn a uturn, stop on the brakes a little hard, or just turn a corner the oil pressure gauge goes to zero and I get the check gages alert. I t stays there for about 5-12 seconds then go back to normal well a little below 40psi. So do you guys think its the oil pump or just a gauge issue or sending unit issue.

Whats the oil level look like? Low?

just a thought, get a good oil filter, the best that you can buy, throw the FRAM in the trash can
