Seriously this is not a tell me how cool my truck will be IF.. I have a 2016 Ram5.7..4x4..stock ride height etc..running 265/70/17s now..BUT ..I want to get a slightly taller tire but without having to go wider..AND I need a LT rated tire that has a AT tread or something a little more aggressive..I'm moving back to Maine..yup , way up north Maine, but there are a lot of good roads that feed the wilderness there ..Somewhere out there their is some one who asked this question and found an answer Thanx all:smileup:

Well, a little taller is very subjective. An LT 255/80/17 will be about a 33x10 tire whereas you have a 31.5x10.5.
Google tire size comparisons and you can play with the calculator until you find a size that you like.

Do you have the standard 7" wheel or the optional 8" wheel?

If you have the standard 7" wheel a 255/75/17 is a 32.1" tall tire and has several options available.

If you have an 8" wheel or wider a 285/70/17 is a good option - 32.8" tall and a lot of choices.
