Does anybody know if there are other overdrive gear options for the 46RE 4x4 1500 (1999)?
My truck has 37" tires and a high mileage motor and the overdrive gear is just too tall to be usable. I end up in 3rd gear all the time at 3000rpm and then the fuel economy is totally in the dumper

Assuming you have 3.55 gear in the diff you need to change that. No options to change od ratio.

bummer. I had the rear diff rebuilt with a Yukon LSD 2 years ago, then put the big wheels and tires on. Not paying to have the front and rear regeared.....that's crazy expensive
